My transactions are not being categorized correctly

While Moneytree automatically categorises all of your transactions, sometimes the category isn’t right for you, or isn’t right at all.

If that happens, here’s how to fix it.

iOS

1.Tap the transaction to edit it.

2.Tap on the incorrect category name.

3.Select the correct category, then save.

Moneytree’s AI algorithm will learn how to categorize future transactions correctly based on your feedback.

Also, when you first connect to Moneytree and have many miscategorised transactions that are the same, we apologise that you will need to manually change each one.
